The Happening

Times Watched: 1
Watched With: My Brother @ Cathay EHub (13/06)

M Night Shyamalan's movies are always good.
right???

Something is happening.
People around the city suddenly start committing suicide in mass numbers for apparent reason after showing weird symptoms like losing speech and movement.

Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg) is a grade-school science teacher who suddenly finds himself on a cross-state journey with his wife Alma (Zooey Deschanel), his best friend and fellow teacher Julian (John Leguizamo) and his daughter Jess (Ashley Sanchez) after whatever is causing the suicide-pandemic to spread across large areas.

it is a race against time to try and survive and at the same time to figure what it is causing the unexplainable event and possibly defeat it.

it being an M Night Shyamalan movie and all i'm sure you know there's no way i can explain too much without giving away too much.

so i'll leave it at that and you'll have to watch the movie to find out more.

Final Verdict:
