Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian

Genre: Comedy / Family
Watched With: My Snooqums @ The Cathay (24/05)
Snacks: None

And I didn't even watch the first one yet.

Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) has moved on from being a security guard to becoming a succesful inventor.
But he still has a soft spot for the living museum pieces at the American Museum of Natural History and when he finds out from curator Dr. McPhee (Ricky Gervais) and (animated) Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams) that the artifacts are being moved to Smithsonian Institution in Washington he realizes how much he will miss them.

But after the artifacts are moved and the magical tablet that was brought along has animated several other artifacts at the Smithsonian including Egyptian king Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria) (who has come BACK to life) has enlisted the help of evil henchmen Ivan the Terrible (Christopher Guest), Napoleon Bonaparte (Alain Chabat) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal) to get rid of the meddling artifacts and take over the world with his army of the undead.

So Larry makes his way all the way there to try and save the lot.
And along the way he gets help from the newly-reanimated Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) and General George Armstrong Custer (Bill Hader) among others.
So can Larry save Jedediah (Owen Wilson), Octavius (Steve Coogan) and the rest of his friends in time?

Okay maybe I should have watched the first one first.
Cos this one kinda sucked.
The trailer to the first one alone drew more laughs from me than this whole sequel did.
But my brother apparently liked it.
So that means it MUST suck right?

Final Verdict:
