Drag Me To Hell

Genre: Horror. True Horror.

True horror returns?

Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) works as a loan officer at a bank is always hoping for the next big break.
There is a vacancy for Assistant Manager at the branch and it's between her and her scumbag colleague Stu Rubin (Reggie Lee) for the slot. And they have to prove to the bank manager Mr. Jacks (David Paymer) that they can hack it when it comes to making decisions in the interest of the bank.

But after Christine rejects a loan extension from an ill and elderly woman Mrs Ganush (Lorna Raver) and causing a public scene at the branch, the elderly gypsy curses Christine.
Her boyfriend Clay Dalton (Justin Long) does not believe in such things even after psychic fortune teller Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) tells her that she is being haunted by a goat spirit called The Lamia and that in 3 days it will drag her soul to hell.

So can Christine avert the evil curse of the gypsy?
The Lamia is on its way to torment Christine and she only has 3 days to set things right if she can.

Anybody watch Evil Dead or Army of Darkness?
Does anyone appreciate Sam Raimi's brand of horror?
Well I do.

I tell you what people.
This is one scary movie. And i'm not talking about once-in-awhile jump out of your seat. I'm talking about jump out of your seat again and again and again.
And not only that. This movie is also pretty funny. Mostly lame. But funny.
Yeah sure it's pretty.. no wait.. scratch that. It's VERY predictable but it's still a very very enjoyable movie.

The only thing missing was the usual cameo by Bruce Campbell.

But I still really recommend you go watch this with someone.
