Terminator Salvation

Genre: Action / Sci-Fi
Watched With: Mr Dopamine Dreamer @ The Cathay (30/05)

The year is 2018 and Skynet has become self-aware.

John Connor (Christian Bale) leads the resistance forces against the machines of Skynet who have not only grown in numbers but also in variations as well.
So with his wife Kate (Bryce Dallas Howard), allies Barnes (Common) and commander General Ashdown (Michael Ironside) among others, John must face up to the future his mother warned him about.

In the mean time, Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) finds himself fighting against the machines despite a shocking truth - that he himself is one.
But despite this and John's doubts of Marcus' loyalties, Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood) sees good in him.
And now that John has a new mission to protect Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) from termination, can Marcus be trusted?

Well if you're not a fan or you haven't watched the first few installments of the Terminator franchise then this'll just be another action movie for you.
McG does a pretty good job on this one (he's always been a good director lah) and spares no expense on the action sequences and definitely no shortage of explosions in this one bub.

Plus you'll see a lot of new machines in this one.
But like I said only if you're a fan then you'll probably enjoy it more. If not then the talking in between the action might bore because you'll just be thinking stuff like "Who the fuck is Sarah Connor?" and "What the hell is a T800?"

Well that's the end of this review.
But don't worry. I'll be back.
(I couldn't resist)

Final Verdict:
