The Crazies

Watched With: Nobody @ Cathay EHub (27/7)
Snacks: Hotdog & Coke
Genre: Mystery / Horror

Don't drink the water.

David Dutten (Timothy Olyphant) is the sheriff in Ogden Marsh and with his deputy Russell Clank (Joe Anderson) they keep the peace in an already peaceful little town.

But one day, the townfolk suddenly start to act strangely as if possesed to do things that are beyond comprehension.
It is such a sudden change that even the sheriff's wife, town doctor Judy Dutten (Radha Mitchell) can't even explain it.

As more and more of the people seem to be affected, they start to do more and more harm to each other and eventually start killing each other.

What is going on in Ogden Marsh and why is the military taking a keen interest in the seemingly random events there?

Well I can't give much else away without spoiling the movie.
But there were quite a few suspenseful and shocking moments though.
And I didn't watch the original George A. Romero movie from 1973 but from what I read this one is better I guess.

Well I'll tell you one thing.
That pitchfork is a shitty way to go.

Final Verdict:
