The Proposal

Betty White is still alive?

Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is a no-nonsense ladyboss hotshot editor in a publishing firm while Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) is her loyal albeit lapdog of an assistant. Why does he put up with it? Because it's his only shot at becoming an editor himself someday.

But when an immigration matter threatens her career, Margaret takes the only way out she can - to marry Andrew. Against his will mind you.
But the plan is to get the marriage anulled once the immigration officer Mr. Gilbertson (Denis O'Hare) is satisfied that they pair are not pulling a fast one on the government. Which they are.

So it's off to Andrew's hometown in Alaska to meet his parents Grace and Joe Paxton (Mary Steenburgen and Craig T. Nelson) and his grandma Annie (Betty White).
But while they are there, Andrew and Margaret start to realize that beneath all the office hullabaloo they might actually have feelings for each other. Or does Andrew still have the hots for his ex-girlfriend Gertrude (Malin Akerman)?

Well I guess everyone probably knows how this one will end right?
And all the guys are probably going "Oh no another girl flick..."
And well yeah it is but it actually wasn't that bad. i think. and ryan reynolds isn't such a bad actor what so can't be so bad lah.
pity they didn't develop or end the story a little better though.

Final Verdict:
