The Mechanic

Watched With: Mr Baps Saigon @ Mr Tank @ GV Tampines Mall
Snacks: Mixed Nuts and Coke
Genre: Action

"I'm going to put a price on your head so big, that when you look in the mirror your reflection's gonna want to shoot you in the face."
Fierce or what?

Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is a Mechanic.
He is a hit man. The best. And he takes care of the job that no one can or will do.
When his mentor and old friend Harry McKenna (Donald Sutherland) is killed, Arthur takes it upon himself to train and groom Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster) to become a hit man just like him.
After all - it was Arthur who killed Harry.

But the pair end up going against head honcho Dean (Tony Goldwyn).
And when all is said and done, the pair will need to make the hardest decisions for themselves.

If you're expecting another 'Transporter'-type film from Jason Statham then I suggest you go watch 'The Transporter'.
He does more talking and less action in this movie.
In fact, from what I read, this remake is pretty much the same thing as the original movie done back in 1972.

Good for awhile I guess. But very predictable.

Final Verdict:
