"God is angry with man so he sends his angels and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"

Bob Hanson (Dennis Quaid) runs the Paradise Falls diner in the middle of the dessert with his son Jeep (Lucas Black), one-handed cook Percy Walker (Charles S. Dutton) and pregant waitress Charlie (Adrianne Palicki).
Just so happens there are a couple of out-of-towners passing through. The Andersons (Jon Tenney, Kate Walsh and Willa Holland) and city tough guy Kyle Williams (Tyrese Gibson).

Suddenly weird things start happening. An old lady warns that Charlie's baby must be killed before turning into a monster. Then a swarm of flies.
It's a good thing that a stranger named Michael (Paul Bettany) arrived because he just so happens to be an angel who's come to save them.

And surely enough more zombie-monsters come to the diner to try and kill Charlie's baby whom the learn is going to be the saviour of the world.
Even the archangel Gabriel (Kevin Durand) comes by to have a go.

So will they survive? Or will it be by God's will and the hands of the angels that the world shall perish?

Oh please this is such a cheap rip-off of 'The Prophecy' which rules.
And not even a good one at that.
The casting is horrible and there is wayyyyy too much talking in this movie. And I don't mind talking if it means something to the plot but talking about your past when you have the doom of the world on its way does not help one bit.

I wish they would have at least decided if they wanted to make an action movie or a monster movie. Because this didn't work at all.

Final Verdict:
